Popular features
Xelion offers a range of features designed to ensure your organisation remains fully accessible. From smart call routing and customisable statuses to integration with Microsoft 365, Xelion streamlines communication and enhances accessibility, making it easier for your team to stay connected and collaborate effectively.
Statuses
Provide your colleagues with clear insight into your availability by setting your status. With over ten customisable options, they can instantly see if you are available, in a meeting, on the road, or on a break. You can simplify this further by linking your status to your Microsoft 365 calendar, ensuring your team always knows your current status.
Address book
No more hassle when searching for contacts you haven’t met yet. With Xelion's shared address book, you always have access to the most up-to-date contact details. Whether you're using your mobile, softphone or desk phone, everything you need is at your fingertips.
Queues
Organise incoming calls efficiently with Xelion’s call queue feature. Calls are placed in a queue and routed systematically, ensuring that each caller is directed to the next available agent or appropriate department. This helps manage high call volumes smoothly and improves customer satisfaction by reducing wait times.
Call Backs
With Xelion’s automatic call back feature, missed calls are no longer an issue. When you’re unavailable, callers can request a call back, and the system will automatically return their call when you’re free. This ensures that no important calls are missed and enhances customer satisfaction by promptly addressing their needs.
Schedules
If you work according to a schedule, you can easily set your working days and hours, so you never have to worry about your availability. Add breaks or part-time days with just a few clicks. Prefer not to set it up yourself? Simply use one of our pre-built templates.
Any device
Whether you prefer using a mobile app, desk phone or a softphone, Xelion has you covered. With apps available for every platform, you can stay connected on any device of your choice. Want to be reachable on all your devices? With Xelion, you can.
Hot Desking
Working at a flexible desk today? Using a desk phone that’s not always in use? Simply log in with your personal PIN, and all your calls will be directed to that phone for the rest of the day.
Calendar sync
Xelion’s calendar function displays your colleagues' availability. By linking it with Microsoft 365, your appointments are also synced. This integration allows you to see in one application whether someone is available, making it easy to respond quickly when someone asks about a colleague’s availability on the phone.
Presence
Want to instantly see which colleagues from which department are available? With the attendance list, you get a comprehensive overview of the entire company or a specific department. View the list in the app or on a second screen. Click on a colleague's name to check their status and agenda, or start a phone or chat conversation right away.
Hunt groups
Create as many call groups as you need to ensure callers always reach the right people. You’ll also see immediately which group the caller is contacting, allowing you to greet them correctly and assist them promptly!
Auto Attendant
Simplify call handling with Xelion’s auto-attendant feature. Automatically greet and direct callers with a customisable voice menu, ensuring they reach the right department or individual without needing to speak to a live operator. Enhance efficiency and provide a professional experience by managing incoming calls seamlessly.
Voicemail
Set up voicemail on your own line or for a group. You can listen to messages via email or directly in the Xelion apps or hardphones. Need the message in text form? With the standard voicemail-to-text function, you receive a written transcription of the message—perfect for when you can’t listen right away but still want to stay informed.
